4 Things to do before going on holiday

Things to do before going on holiday

The good weather is just around the corner and the holiday season begins. Whether you're one of those who plans every detail months ahead, or your style is more to improvise the evening before, we give you some tips to get everything in order before your departure:

Food that won’t last

Store in the refrigerator or freezer what you can keep for your return. If something is not going to last in the refrigerator for the days you're going to be away you can use it up or perhaps give to a neighbor, relative or friend.

Electricity, water and gas

Make sure the gas taps are properly closed, turn off lights and appliances that they will not be in use (careful with the fridge!) And close the taps if you have an automatic irrigation or something similar for what’s going to need water.

Animals and plants

If you take your pets on holiday with you know you they will enjoy the journey with you. If you can’t take them with you, find someone responsible to take charge of them in your absence: that will take them for a walk, clean their cages and collect their droppings and take care of their diet and since they will be passing through your house, they can also water your plants for you.

Rubbish

Remember to empty the bins you have in different rooms of the house. You'll be glad you did on your return.

Remember that if you need currencies for your travel, you can reserve them at Eurochange, even to be collected on the same day! Reserve now!

We can only wish you a happy holiday wherever you go and have a good return for when you come back to the daily routine.
