FIFA Women´s World Cup Final
This Sunday, at the Accor Stadium in Sidney (Australia), the FIFA women’s world cup final will take place. England and Spain will face each other to make history.
Whoever wins will be a new world champion since neither national team ever won the world cup. Only four countries have this achievement since the FIFA women´s world cup was official in 1991. United States have four trophies, Germany has two then Norway and Japan have one. That means is going to be a new Word Champion, either Spain or England will make history.
England arrives to this final with a great world cup already. The won every single game in this tournament and only allowed 3 goals in the 5 games they already played, on the other hand they scored 13 to make them the favorites at this final.
Spain had a bit more trouble to make it. Losing during the qualifying stage to Japan (one of the favorites) 4-0 and only being able to win their games at the last minutes or even in extra time. They scored 12 goals and allowed 6, during this tournament.
But we know football and stats mean nothing. No matter who wins we are sure we will be able to enjoy an amazing match between two excellent teams that will give all they have to have their name written in gold letters in the most wanted trophy in the football world.
