What to see in Bulgaria in one week
Bulgaria is a country located on the Balkan Peninsula unknown to most. Gradually it is emerging as a tourist power. A perfect combination between nature, culture and ancient traditions. A city of Thracian origin founded in 3,000 B.C. It was the capital of the Bulgarian Empire between the twelfth and fourteenth centuries. Veliko Tarnovo is the most visited city in the northern part of Bulgaria and is located 250 kilometers from Sofia.

Plovdiv
Although it usually depends on the source we consult, Plovdiv is often considered the oldest city in Europe.

Rila Monastery
